New US National Team Jersey

January 31, 2008

This is the jersey the US National team will wear in 08/09 during the World Cup qualifiers. Many people hate the design, but i like it. Plus it reminds me of this Colombia jersey:

New York Red Bulls Update

January 30, 2008

Defender Eric Brunner will look to help strengthen the Red Bulls' defense.

Here is a New York Red Bulls update. The Red Bulls  have managed to nab a new Head coach and an O- State defender. Their new coach is the one and only Juan Carlos Osorio! Osorio was previously the coach of the Chicago Fire who beat a favored D.C. United 3-2 in aggregate goals.  The new defender, Eric Brunner, was the Red Bulls first pick of the 2008 MLS SuperDraft. The Red Bulls have also signed Zach Thornton(GK). And that’s all for today’s new York Red Bulls update!

Ac Milan vs. Juventus

January 29, 2008

Ac Milan vs. Juventus. Not a better match exists. These two titans will clash on Sunday, April 13. The game will be played in the Stadio Olimpico Grande Turin. The match will be packed with excitement as the Rossoneri duel the Bianconeri. Milan didn’t play Brazilian super striker Alexandre Pato. Many hope that Pato will impact the game drastically.

Mellberg going to Juve

January 29, 2008

Swedish defender Olof Mellberg will be going to Juventus. He has agreed to a three year deal with the Italian club.  Mellberg will come to the club at the end of this season.

Real Madrid on rampage.

January 28, 2008

Real Madrid struck a paralyzing blow to Barca’s title dreams, after beating Villareal and Giuseppe Rossi 3-2. It was a thrilling match with Robinho scoring early in the ninth minute. Rossi swiftly struck back 7 minutes later. The game went into the break tied, 1-1. Robinho once again scored in minute 53 of the match. Villareal were down, but not out. Capdevilla scored to prove this. It was all to no avail. Wesley Sneijder scored one minute later.
